Extracting Forceps 13
Extracting Forceps 13: In veterinary dentistry, extraction forceps are used to remove the root after it has become luxated loose. Forcep blades are forced apically in human dentistry to push the root out of the alveolus. Because of the longer tapering roots of brachyodont teeth, this is rarely possible in veterinary dentistry.
Extraction forceps are the most commonly used instruments for tooth/teeth extraction. Elevators and extraction forceps are commonly used in intra-alveolar extractions. They are the instruments used to extract the tooth from the alveolar bone socket.
Uses of different extraction forceps:
Forcep No. 1:
The extraction forceps No. 1 is especially useful for mandibular cheek tooth extractions, but they can also be used for upper jaw extractions. The extraction forceps, like the spreaders, can be disassembled and reassembled in a variety of ways.

Forcep No. 7
Single-use Dental Extracting Forceps 79, constructed for the extraction of upper roots and premolars in adults (bicuspids).

For the dentist, Extracting Forceps 18 provides numerous advantages. In cases where tooth extraction is required, this forceps is ideal for removing the upper right molars. The instrument has a powerful, short beak with a curve to fit the upper right molars for this purpose.
Forcep No. 22
Lower Molars Extracting Forceps 22 is used to extract teeth from alveolar bone.
Forcep No. 23
23 forceps are used for the first and lower second molars. To extract teeth from alveolar bone, forceps 23 is used. Lower first and second molars are extracted using 23 forceps. HIGH-END INSTRUMENTS Forceps have improved beak geometries to allow for better access and engagement when extracting teeth.
